Requirements
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- Successful completion of Reception Academy
- At least 12 months’ experience in a face-to-face customer service role
- Good understanding of digital platforms
- Knowledge of Virgin Active exercise experiences
- Understanding of customer journey and service excellence
- Knowledge of club rules, operating standards, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to resolve member questions and queries
Key Responsibilities
Front of House Duties
In this Service Ambassador Jobs, your front-of-house responsibilities will include:
- Controlling access into the facility
- Welcoming members and visitors professionally
- Providing accurate information to members and prospective members
- Delivering a seamless member experience from entry to exit
- Adhering to operational standards and administrative procedures
Member Engagement and Retention
- Deliver excellent customer service to achieve NPS and satisfaction targets
- Build strong, lasting relationships with members
- Resolve member queries, concerns, and complaints effectively
- Encourage participation in fitness initiatives and club events
- Support member retention through daily engagement
- Promote and support digital engagement on Virgin Active platforms
Member Floor Experience
- Promote safe exercise practices at all times
- Ensure members adhere to club rules and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards on the club floor
- Create a welcoming and motivating club atmosphere
Training and Development
- Participate in ongoing training programmes
