Requirements
Applicants for Cleaners Jobs 2026 must meet the following:
- ABET / Standard 8 / Grade 10 qualification
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in a cleaning environment is advantageous
- Must be physically fit to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to rotate across departments and sites
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Appropriate use of cleaning equipment and materials
- Understanding of repetitive cleaning tasks and facility policies
- Knowledge of hygiene and storage requirements
- Good communication skills (read, speak, write)
- Ability to operate relevant machinery and equipment
- Adherence to loyal service ethics
Duties
Successful candidates for Cleaners Jobs 2026 will be responsible for:
- Rendering support services to supervisors
- Maintaining high standards of neatness and hygiene across the facility
- Implementing infection control policy standards
- Cleaning and maintaining office furniture, floors, walls, windows, elevators, and boardrooms
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, and shampooing floors
- Emptying and cleaning dirt bins; collecting and removing waste papers
- Cleaning general kitchens: washing basins, utensils, and maintaining stock
- Cleaning restrooms: refilling soap, replacing toilet papers, hand towels, and air fresheners
- Maintaining cleaning materials and equipment, reporting broken machines
- Cleaning machines and equipment (microwaves, vacuum cleaners) after use
- Ensuring cost-effective use of cleaning consumables
- Providing cleaning support services to various departments, including waste management
