Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the YES Youth Opportunity Programme, applicants should meet the following:
- Age between 18 and 28 years
- Grade 12 / Matric (preferable)
- Must not have been permanently employed for more than 1 year with one employer
- Must not be studying full-time during the programme period (April 2026 – March 2027)
- Must not have previously participated in the YES programme
- Must be willing to work a 12-month fixed-term contract
- Own transport and accommodation (if applicable)
