Minimum Requirements
Applicants for the Storeperson Jobs should have:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Storeperson, Stock Controller, or Stores Assistant

Key Duties And Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries
- Store stock according to food safety and hospital standards
- Apply FIFO stock rotation procedures and monitor expiry dates
- Issue stock to kitchen and operational departments
- Perform regular stock counts and assist with month-end inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports
- Keep storage areas, cold rooms, and freezers clean and organised
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving stock safely
- Reduce stock losses through effective waste management
- Comply with health, safety, infection control, and HACCP requirements
