Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and chefs with food production.

- Keep the serving line adequately stocked and clean.
- Operate the cash register where required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, canteen, and serving areas.
- Ensure customer service and operational quality standards are maintained.
- Follow health, safety, and food safety requirements.
- Store and record leftover food.
- Ensure customer expectations are met within the requirements of the contract.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Count and sign over stock to the correct staff member where applicable.
- Assist with training new employees when required.
- Attend meetings and training courses as required.
- Respond appropriately to customer complaints or compliments.
- Report issues to management and take appropriate action where possible.
