Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates for the Reach Truck Driver Jobs will be responsible for:
- Operate the reach truck safely and responsibly.
- Comply with health, safety and warehouse procedures.
- Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections.
- Report equipment defects.
- Ensure operating licences and certifications remain valid.
- Retrieve stock from high racking locations when required.
- Replenish picking locations to maintain stock availability.
- Assist with order preparation and dispatch activities.
- Ensure accurate picking and stock movement.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock takes.
- Report stock discrepancies, damages and shortages.
- Maintain accurate stock location records.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean and free from hazards.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses immediately.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle checks.
