Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6 or higher) in Public Management, Administration, Operations, Business Management, Law, or Social Science
- Knowledge of the Public Service and Civic Services Regulatory Framework
- Familiarity with Batho Pele Principles, fraud prevention, and departmental regulations
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Attend to customer enquiries and perform online verifications on HANIS
- Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience
- Provide orientation and information on available services
- Conduct fingerprint and marital status checks and issue service tickets
- Direct customers to the relevant departments efficiently
- Maintain customer waiting areas to departmental standards
- Operate live capture photo booths and process identity documents
- Verify, capture, and file client information, including ID smart cards
- Process applications for IDs, birth, marriage, and death registrations, including late registrations and amendments
- Implement departmental policies and monitor physical resources
