Key Responsibilities
Learners appointed under the YES Merchandiser Learnerships will be responsible for the following duties:
Stock Control and Ordering
- Control and manage Clover stock in stores and backup areas
- Apply correct stock control measures at all times
- Minimise returns and record them according to store procedures
- Prevent out-of-stock situations and report issues to the Area Manager
- Place accurate and timely stock orders
Merchandising and Shelf Management
- Ensure products are clean, neat, and properly displayed
- Pack shelves according to store flow and merchandising rules
- Maintain shelf layouts according to store plans and planograms
- Ensure product information labels are always correct
- Maintain fridges and merchandising equipment
Store Relationships and Administration
- Build and maintain good relationships with store management and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with Area Managers and Head Office
- Complete all required administration accurately
- Use point-of-sale materials correctly and keep them well maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve product visibility in stores
