Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • No prior work experience required
  • Basic understanding of administrative duties
  • Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Skills Required

Candidates shortlisted for Administration Clerk Jobs must demonstrate the following knowledge and skills:

  • Computer literacy, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of government prescripts such as the Housing Act, Housing Code, and PFMA regulations
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates appointed to Administration Clerk Jobs will be responsible for:

  • Providing general clerical and administrative support
  • Receiving claims from regional offices
  • Checking all required supporting documentation for completeness
  • Registering claims on the claims register using Excel
  • Compiling checklists for complete and accurate claims
  • Maintaining proper record-keeping systems
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental procedure
