Requirements
Applicants for these Drivers Jobs 2026 must meet the following:
- Grade 10 / Std 8 qualification
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
- 7–12 months relevant driving experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, prescripts, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of motor maintenance, storage requirements, messenger services, and office registry procedures
- Understanding of vehicle logbooks, trip authorisations, fuel and kilometre recording
- Skills: Driving, reading, writing, tyre fixing/changing, and vehicle cleaning
Duties
Successful candidates for Drivers Jobs 2026 will be responsible for:
- Driving light and medium vehicles to transport passengers and deliver mail/documents
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance and reporting defects promptly
- Completing logbooks and all prescribed records for vehicles and goods
- Providing clerical and messenger support, including assisting with registry, photocopying, faxing, and document delivery
- Ensuring vehicles and office equipment are maintained in good condition
