Industrial YES Learnerships 2026 are now open at Clover South Africa through the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. This opportunity is aimed at unemployed South African youth who want to gain 12 months of practical work experience in the logistics and distribution environment.

Clover is offering 35 YES Learner (Industrial) positions across multiple locations nationwide. These learnerships are based in Clover’s Production, Primary Transport, and Secondary Distribution departments and are designed to help young people develop workplace skills, confidence, and experience.

 Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Learners appointed under the Industrial YES Learnerships 2026 programme will be exposed to various logistics and warehouse operations, including but not limited to the following:

Stock Management

  • Assist with managing stock using the Warehouse Management System
  • Receive, dispatch, and control stock
  • Re-supply stock on the system during receiving
  • Locate and move stock within the warehouse
  • Prevent stock losses and shrinkage
  • Maintain correct stock levels

Warehouse System Maintenance

  • Update systems with new and discontinued products
  • Ensure stock is stored in the correct locations
  • Set up and link scanners
  • Compare weigh-bridge statistics with claims

Housekeeping, Safety, and Security

  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Follow safety regulations at all times
  • Ensure safety standards are understood and followed

Warehouse Productivity

  • Assist with allocation of picking resources
  • Support picking performance and productivity
  • Minimise idle time
  • Optimise use of picking equipment

Administration Duties

  • Capture truck and driver documentation
  • Capture satellite and inter-branch reports
  • Check and control printed invoices
  • Follow up on queries
  • Print invoices and load sheets
  • Report delays in truck arrival times
  • Close routes on ERMS

Engineering Store Support

  • Receive and issue stock parts
  • Assist with stock counts and cycle counts
  • Handle returns to suppliers
  • Ensure paperwork is accurate and submitted
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
  • Ensure safety and security of stock
