Requirements

To qualify for the Nedbank YES Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between 18 and 29 years old as of 01 May 2026
    (Born between 02 May 1997 and 01 May 2008)
  • Have a Matric (Grade 12) qualification or a post-matric qualification:
    • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate)
    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma)
    • NQF Level 7 (Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Be South African-born African, Coloured, or Indian, in line with the BBBEE Act definition
  • Must not have previously participated in any YES Programme with another organisation
