- Processing customer purchases accurately at the point of sale.
- Following Dis-Chem customer service policies and procedures.
- Establishing professional relationships with customers.
- Reporting customer complaints and compliments to the relevant supervisor or management.
- Keeping informed about current sales and promotions.
- Maintaining the required customer turnover rate.
- Processing cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons and other accepted payment methods.
- Processing customer loyalty cards and participating loyalty programmes.
- Ensuring cash is placed in the drop safe according to company procedures.
- Keeping till cash secure at all times.
- Ensuring personal till codes and passwords remain confidential and secure.
