The Disability Learnerships at BKB Ltd are now open for unemployed South African youth living with disabilities who are looking to gain valuable workplace experience and a nationally recognised qualification. Based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, this 12-month programme combines theoretical learning with practical fibre training in the agricultural sector. Successful applicants will enrol in the New Venture Creation NQF Level 2 (SAQA 49648) qualification while receiving practical exposure within BKB Wool & Mohair. These Disability Learnerships are specifically designed to empower previously disadvantaged individuals living with disabilities by equipping them with practical skills, workplace experience, and improved employment opportunities. A monthly stipend will be paid in accordance with programme regulations.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Disability Learnerships, applicants must have:
- Grade 10 qualification
- Be an unemployed South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 29 years old
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Not have previously completed the SAQA 49648 qualification
- Not currently be registered for another learnership or studying
- Be willing to perform physically demanding work and stand for long periods
- Submit a medical report confirming their disability or impairment
