Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful learners for the Bakery Skills Programme Jobs will:
- Attend and complete all online learning modules and assessments
- Participate in 2 days of online learning and 3 days of practical in-store training each week
- Assist with bakery production and food preparation under the guidance of experienced bakery staff
- Prepare, package, and present bakery products according to Pick n Pay standards
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Support merchandising and stock replenishment within the bakery department
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the bakery and store team
