Minimum Requirements

  • Physically and medically fit
  • Clear criminal record
  • Aged 35 years or younger
  • Must reside within 50 km of Kriel Power Station
  • Proof of residence required

Training & Development

  • Complete theoretical and practical merSETA modules
  • Prepare for and complete trade test requirements
  • Work towards artisan qualification (NQF Level 4)

Workplace Experience

  • Gain hands-on experience in boilermaking or welding
  • Support production and site activities
  • Apply technical knowledge in real work environments

Tasks & Assignments

  • Complete tasks assigned by mentors and training officers
  • Participate in learning and development activities
  • Maintain progress throughout the programme
