Minimum Requirements

Applicants for the Engineering Learnerships should have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with:
    • Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) – minimum 40%
    • Physical Science – minimum 40%
    • English – minimum 40%
  • N2 or higher qualification with all four required subjects passed for the relevant engineering trade
    OR
  • NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade with all subjects passed (minimum 40%)
  • South African ID
  • Updated CV
  • Certified copies of all relevant qualifications
  • Proof of residence stamped by the relevant municipality or tribal authority (for host community applicants)
