Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Wholesale & Retail Distribution Learnerships, applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Clear criminal record
  • Reside within 15km of the selected workplace
  • South African citizenship
  • Be between 18 and 33 years old
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to use databases and spreadsheets
  • Must not have previously participated in a Wholesale and Retail SETA Learnership
  • Must not be currently enrolled in another learnership or training programme
  • Must be willing to commit to a 12-month learnership programme

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Pick stock accurately according to company standards
  • Build and stack pallets correctly
  • Conduct quality inspections on stock
  • Count and record leftover stock accurately
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  • Ensure quality outputs are consistently achieved
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Support warehouse and distribution operations
  • Assist with stock control activities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
