The SANParks CATHSSETA Internship Programme (Cape Region) 2026 is open for applications. This 12-month paid internship provides valuable workplace exposure within South Africa’s leading conservation institutions. The programme is hosted by South African National Parks (SANParks) and offers graduates practical experience in Human Capital Management. Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging from R6 335.69 to R9 088.37, depending on NQF level.

  • Human Capital Management (3 Positions)
    National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Honours Degree in Human Resources Management (NQF 6/7/8)

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the SANParks CATHSSETA Internship Programme, applicants must:

  • Be an unemployed South African citizen
  • Be aged between 18 and 35
  • Have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree (NQF 6–8) from a South African public HEI
  • Not have previously participated in a Public Service internship or placement programme
  • Not have prior formal employment in the relevant field

  • Certified copy of Matric/Grade 12 certificate
  • Certified copies of academic qualifications
  • Full academic transcript
  • Certified copy of South African ID

All appointments are subject to verification and pre-screening. Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA.
