Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful Beauty Assistant will be responsible for:
- Consulting with customers and answering product-related questions.
- Advising customers on the best products and services to meet their needs.
- Driving and maximising sales within the beauty department.
- Promoting products through cross-selling and upselling.
- Working towards consistently achieving monthly sales targets.
- Monitoring sales and evaluating product performance.
- Providing suggestions to improve product offerings and increase sales.
- Keeping up to date with beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions and events.
- Providing customers with accurate and current product information.
- Executing operational activities within the beauty department.
- Managing stock effectively and helping to minimise shrinkage.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.
- Ensuring visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained.
- Maintaining attractive in-store presentations and promotional displays.
- Delivering superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
- Providing friendly, professional and visible service to customers.
- Promoting the Clicks ClubCard to customers.
- Enrolling new ClubCard members to support participation targets.
- Promoting private-label and exclusive products to increase profitability and brand loyalty.
- Supporting Clicks in becoming the customer’s first choice for health and beauty products.
