Minimum Requirements

- Must reside in or around Vaal.
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment will be advantageous.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive all cash deposits from drivers.
- Make up bank deposits.
- Ensure cash deposits are handled accurately.
- Count cash received from drivers.
- Balance cash received against the deposit slip.
- Record cash and cheques in the cash-up summary.
- Prepare deposits for the bank.
- Record seal numbers in the register.
- Keep the cash office door locked at all times.
- Ensure that no unauthorised persons enter the cash office.
- Lock cash in the safe overnight.
- Ensure the previous day’s takings are removed from the premises by 11:00 am the following day.
- Follow all relevant cash-handling and security procedures.
