Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have a valid Code EC driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP), categories D, G and P.
- Submit a certified copy of their Matric certificate.
- Be medically fit.
- Be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Economics or a related field will be advantageous.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful learners will be expected to:
- Complete a structured 12–18 month learnership programme.
- Participate in classroom-based theoretical training.
- Complete practical workplace training and driving experience.
- Attend compulsory face-to-face classroom training and achieve the required competency.
- Complete a minimum of 100 practical driving hours in the workplace.
- Apply road-safety and energy-efficiency standards when operating vehicles.
- Complete the final competency assessment.
- Complete the compulsory External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA).
