Minimum Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Evaluations Clerk will be responsible for managing returned products and ensuring that each return is accurately assessed and processed. Key duties include:

  • Evaluating returned products based on their condition and completeness.
  • Assessing and categorising returned products according to company standards.
  • Determining whether products are sellable, repairable, return-to-vendor (RTV), or for disposal.
  • Verifying all documentation relating to product returns.
  • Capturing and maintaining accurate records of customer queries and returns.
  • Following up on outstanding cases.
  • Providing regular feedback on the progress of outstanding cases.
  • Escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
  • Preparing reports on return trends and resolutions.
  • Identifying recurring issues relating to product returns.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  • Supporting the effective operation of the Distribution Centre returns process.
